Discuss your financial storyWhy Necaly
Experience at the intersection of finance, public service, and mission.
Financial services taught founder Shawn Denney how capital, planning, and risk fit together. Public service and nonprofit leadership showed him how often capable organizations are held back by financial infrastructure that has not kept pace with their mission.
“The goal is not to add another layer of reporting. It is to give leaders the financial clarity to pursue opportunities, manage risk, and move with confidence.”Start a conversation

Common Questions
Designed to be clear from the beginning.
Is Necaly a bookkeeping or accounting firm?
Necaly focuses on strategic financial leadership: planning, forecasting, modeling, reporting, funding strategy, and decision support. We can work alongside your bookkeeper, accountant, or tax professional rather than replacing them.
Can we start with one project?
Yes. Many relationships begin with a focused project such as a grant-readiness review, financial model, board reporting package, budget, or cash-flow forecast. Ongoing support is considered only when it makes practical sense.
Are grant fees based on the amount awarded?
No. Grant services are priced based on the work, complexity, and scope—not as a percentage of an award. Funding decisions remain with the grantmaker and cannot be guaranteed.
Do you work only in Indianapolis?
Necaly is based in the Indianapolis area and works with organizations locally and remotely. The initial conversation will determine whether the engagement can be handled effectively across distance.
Start a Conversation
What financial decision is your organization trying to make?
Share a little about the opportunity, pressure point, or project in front of you. The first conversation is simply about whether there is a practical fit.
